Black Pit Media was founded in 2019 by Lucas and Olivia Tran in Raleigh, NC as a multi-media production company with a focus on cinematography and storytelling.

Lucas seeks to approach filmmaking with a focus on realism while establishing unique worlds that are only able to be captured through film. Establishing his own style of "Cross-Sectional Realism" his screenplays have been described as refreshingly original with well-developed characters that are strikingly foreign yet comfortingly familiar.
